Question Is there a longer version of Rex?

I've recently taken to the name Rex. My husband has always loved Max, and I feel like this has the same appeal, but is less popular. I have a Grandfather nmed Roy, and it shares the same meaning. Its quirky yet vintage, similar to Vivienne.

So for all those reasons... I'm digging it. I definitely feel it can stand on its own, but, my question is: could it be a nickname for something longer?

Thd only long version I can think of is Reginald. A few other possibilities include:
    Alrec
    Breck/Breckin
    Wrecker
    Eric
Other than that I'm all blank.
I do honestly love Rex as a full name on its own.
Some say I'm an angel... Others say I'm a star... But you can call me Princess!!!

I knew someone named Rexford. I think Rexton also works.
I like simple yet versatile names that work well for the athlete, the comic, the genius, and the judge.

I always thought it was a nn for Reginald.
    But perhaps Reagan?
I do think it stands alone.
