Toby is all boy to me so if I met an October called Toby, I'd automatically assume it was a boy.

Honestly, I have got a soft spot for month/season names but October sounds more like a boy name, especially with nickname Toby. But maybe Berry or Ottie could work for a girl?
That being said, I much prefer April/Avril and January for a baby girl.

Toby is all boy to me as well, and I think October has a bit more of a masculine sound, if that makes sense.
