on your list my favorite is Liza, pronounced like Eliza without the E, not Liz with an A, but my absolute favorite nn for Elizabeth is Elsie
~ Elisabeth Odelia "Elsie" ~ Gideon Boone ~
~ Adelheid Ruby "Addie Rue" ~ Theodore Solomon "Teddy"~
~ Casilda Josephine "Cassie Jo" ~ Zaccheaus Westley "Zeke" ~

I think Libby is a very underused nickname for Elizabeth. I think it is classy yet spunky! I love Lizzy too, but Liz and Izzy (short for Isabella) is way overused these days.

Betty by a lightyear. Bette is my favorite spelling of this perfect name. Bette Bette Bette. What could be BETTE-R?

I do not understand the fascination with Libby. To me, Libby sounds ultra WASPy and high-pitched. Somebody explain.

I've always been partial to Libby -- I totally agree that it feel spunky, especially compared to some of the others. I love Betty, too, but my husband's cousin has a daughter named Betty (and we live in the same town), so not sure if we could do that. But Betty and Betsy are probably my favorites, followed closely by Libby. My hubby likes Liza.
