What do you think of the name Kingsley for a boy?

What do you think of the name Kingsley for a boy? My husband loves it but I not so sure. I feel that it may be a bit arrogant and pretentious. We are Chinese so it'll be Kingsley Choong. All comments welcomed.

Kingsley is too surname-like for me which is really my major problem with it, plus the obvious nickname is King which is kinda meh to me.

I like it! I think it's cute, yet strong. You don't have to use King as a nickname. For example, you could do Kingsy, Ki, Kin, or Lee. If you still think it's too much, maybe, change the K to a C? Cingsley? Too weird? Well, it's just a thought.

Yeah...Cingsley (sing's lee?) is actually worse than Kingsley, I think.

Kingsley sounds pretentious to me and I dislike the "king" part.
