    Thoughts on the name Juliette?

What do you like or dislike about it? Do you prefer Juliette or Juliet? Middle name suggestions?

I much prefer Juliet. I think Juliette looks a bit pretentious and unnecessarily frilly, unless you're French. Why bother with the extra -te when Juliet is already so feminine? It feels like overkill to me. I also like it best with the first syllable emphasized, rather than the last.

I love Juliet. Juliette feels unnecessarily fussy to me.

I do like Juliette, and normally I wouldn't be a fan of 'unnecessary' letters in a name, but in the case of this particular name I feel it gives the name a little extra oomph. It makes me think of Juliette kind of as a younger version of Juliet.
