    I think it's old-ladyish. I've never met a Florence so all I have to go on is the old-lady image. A lot of the time when I meet someone with a name they will change my feelings about the name. So it's very possible to change my opinion if I met a sweet girl named Florence.

    I adoreeeeeeeeeeeeeeee the name Florence. I so wish DH loved it as much as I do. I like the nicknames Flo, Flora and Flossie best <3

    I love Flora, but Florence does nothing for me. It doesn't seem pretty, feminine, or sweet.

    I really do like Florence but much prefer Flora.

    Florence with the nn Flora would be a real winner for me!
