    I too pronounced it differently and wouldn't understand the actress association. I kind of like it, but to be honest prefer my mispronunciation, haha. (Thear-ron - first syllable rhyming with ear). I kind of like Theo for it and don't think it's too much of a stretch.

    We pronounce it th as in bath air en

    We do not like it pronounced thair-on. When I say it in my head it sounds like th+ the name Aaron. But not sure if I want to use it because of the confusion in pronunciation.

    Thair-en. I don't think it need a nn and if you use Ronnie it will further confuse people over the pronunciation

    I always hear Charlize Theron's name as ther-OWN, kind of rhymes with Jerome
