I really like Mars. Maybelline will forever be a makeup brand, however. How about Mabel, or Maribel, or Mabyn, or Maeve, or Mavis, or Mae?

I'm afraid you might have painted yourself into a stylistic corner by naming your first daughter London. I would expect a sibling to be named something equally trendy, like Nevaeh or Jayden. A sibset of London and Mars or London and Irina would definitely make me do a double-take, and then a triple-take. Is sibset cohesion important to you? Even if it isn't, or not especially, I would still advise you to be careful that your sibset doesn't end up sounding like Aerith and Bob -- that is, a very strong, historical, unique name like Mars with a trendy Top 100 name like London.

    How about:

    London and Presley
    London and Scarlett
    London and Quinn
    London and Eden
    London and Summer
    London and Vaugn
    London and Kai
    London and Zander
    London and Paisley
London and Sydney (you'd even get to keep your 'major cities' theme)
    London and Piper
    London and Foster
    London and Xavier
    London and Luna
    London and Zane
    London and Damon
    London and Marnie
    London and Gunnar
    London and Parker
    London and Tatum
    London and Sloane
    London and Destry
    London and Bodhi (or Boden)
    London and Daphne
    London and Verity
    London and Clover
    London and Nova
    London and Bellamy
    London and Asher
    London and Cyrus
    London and Anders
    London and Monroe
    London and Harlowe
    London and Ashby
    London and Zadie
    London and Cabot
    London and Jagger
    London and Keziah
    London and Archer
    London and Melita
    London and Merrin
    London and Gentry
    London and Windsor
    London and Afton
London and Holland (another place name)
    London and Callum
    London and Gemma
    London and Wylie
    London and Thane
    London and Temple
    London and West
    London and Evander
    London and Nash
    London and Hartley (or Harley)
    London and Oakley
    London and Haven
    London and Harper
    London and Ramone
    London and Bard
    London and Adler
    London and Lola
    London and Salem (place name!)
    London and Scout
    London and Jove
    London and Merritt
    London and Sutton
    London and Saffron
    London and Taggart

Do you like any of these?

Matilda Sailor or Faye Matilda | Sylvie Winifred or Simon Atlas | Atlas Dov or Alice Violetta | Lucien Wilde or Lucinda Jane | Jane Lucinda or Jack Marlowe | Marlowe Charles or Roscoe Thomas | Charles ' Charlie' Wallace or Marigold 'Maggie' Wynn | Eloise Lily or Elliot Darwin | Iris Cordelia or Thea Marina | Jasper Augustus or Juniper 'June' Lovelace | Julian Felix or Judah 'Jude' Reeve

I like Scarlett, DH likes Luna and Nova. I love the sound of Maybellene, but Mabel doesn't cut it for either of us. Plus, we have a (not that close) friend with a Mabel. Here are the other names we have considered, but don't seem like "the one":

    Girls:
    Maybellene Irina (Maybe)
    Avriel Irina
    Elodie Irina
    Czarina
    Anika Irina
    Janneke Irina
    Scarlett Irina
    Mirabel Irina
    Anais Irina
    Vienne Irina
    Luna Irene
    Mazarine Irina (Mazzy)
    Dresden Irina
    Liesel Irina

    Boys:
    Mars Von
    Remy Von
    Adriel Von
    Marsden Von (Mars)
    Roux Von
    Eames Von
    Echo Von
    Henrik Von
    Jules Von
    Rommy Von
    Diesel Von
    Enzo Von
    Maarsen Von (Mars)
    Jude Von
    Vigo Von

I actually like Mars, but I really don't like Maybellene. I love Mazarine, although London and Mazarine are an odd sibset. From your list for girls I like Scarlett. I really dislike Dresden, all I can think about are the Dresden bombings.

I don't mind Mars, but Maybellene is make-up no matter how it's spelled. Also, since you want to use Irina as the mn, I would stay away from the -EEN endings because it kind of clashes (although I like the name Mazarine, Mazarine Irina doesn't work at all).

Some similar girls names you might like: Magdalene Irina, Magda Irina, Margaux Irina, Merit Irina, Meredith Irina, Minerva Irene/Irina, Marcella Irina, Miranda Irina, Memory Irina, Mirth Irina, Marly Irina, Mariele Irina, Muriel Irina, Maeve Irina, Moira Irina, Merryl Irina

Some other (mostly place-centered) names that you might like with London:

    Albany
    Asia
    Astrid
    Camden
    Carolina
    Claire
    Davis
    Florence
    France/Frances
    Geneva
    Georgia
    Harlow
    Holland
    Hollis
    India
    Indigo
    Katherine (nn Kit)
    Lavender
    Louisiana
    Lourdes
    Lucia
    Marlies
    Marlowe
    Orly
    Roux
    Rosemond
    Savannah
    Sydney
