I am loving Cosima right now, so that gets my vote! I thinks it's lovely. I like Cosima Alair the most, but Cosima Noor is lovely as well. Congratulations!

    Requirements for a bladette (girl):

    - I don't care for frilly or lacy names
    - historical depth and namesakes are very important to me
    - no more than 1 middle name (brightline rule per husband)
    - at least one of the two names must be that of a saint recognized by the Eastern Orthodox Church. This includes all Christian saints canonized before the Great Schism in the 11th century, and all Greek/Russian/Arab/Slavic saints canonized since.
    - baby's surname is distinctly Arabic and phonetically works like "Nawaal" or "Nasim." First syllable is Na- so any girls' name ending in -na is out.
    - since I'm not Arab, I'm not looking for an Arabic first name, but would consider one for the middle
    - I love medieval, romantic, strong girls' names
    - French names are great; I speak French fluently as does husband's Lebanese family. However in the States diacritical marks aren't allowed, so nothing whose pronunciation depends on one
    - should pair coherently with son Antoine Raphael

Blade, I'm so happy for you!

Although I like your A- names, I hesitate to match Anastasia or Aristea with Antoine.

My favorites for first name are Everild, Cosima, Meriel, and Myriam.
For the middle, I love Chrysanthe and Theophane.
From the suggestions, I second Laurel, Opaline, and Helene.

I'm just a third-culture girl with an affinity for names.

Not sure if you read any French baby name sites but www.journaldesfemmes.com has great baby name boards, I LOVE Myriam, very high up on my list, Myriam Athénaïs may even surpass Josephine Athénaïs as my favorite future dd name. the only negative feed back I've received is that it sounds trendy in the states but I still wouldn't hesitate to use it. I've been very busy lately so I don't post much but I can probably come up with a list of obscure French names if you're interested. Nothing you can't find online but since I love them I would be more than happy to share in case there might be a few that are new to you.

    Congrats!
Josephine Athénaïs - Josephine Ivy - Myriam Athénaïs - Vivienne Josephine
Athena Beatrice - Beatrice Cecile - Eléonor Anne-Sophie -Myriam Beatrice - Meredith Elizabeth
    Ambrose Aristide - Ulysses Aristide

Girls: Aenor, Bérangère, Bérénice, Catalina, Honorine, Nadezhda Boys: Augustin, Calixte, Emeric, Hugo, Lambert, Maxandre, Maxence, Yves
