My sister's friends mum's name is Archana. (aRch-uh-nuh)
The family is Indian, so I assume it has some sort of Indian relation if not an all Indian name.

I don't know of any actual variations. I can only suggest replacing the -er with a "girly" ending:
    Archette
    Archella
    Archiana
    Archibel
    Archibella
    Archelle (Ar-chell)
    Archina (Ar-chee-nah)
    Archellie (Ar-chell-ee)
    Archaya (Ar-chay-uh)
    Archienne (Ar-chee-enne)
    Archierre (ar-chee-air)
    etc

    Or perhaps keep the "Arch"
    March
    Marchelle
    etc

    Sorry that isn't more helpful.

I guess there's Bow and Arrow, if you want to be literal. Or Archa. It isn't a feminization, but how about Artemis?
