    If the associations don't bother you then I think the name is definitely usable. Yes in the US you will get a lot of 'like the medication?' comments, but personally that doesn't bother me too much.

    It isn't really that bad. Maybe one day they will discontinue the brand?
    Allegra is a really pretty name and I don't automatically think of the allergy meds when I hear it.

    I agree. Associations tend to ruin names for me but the allergy medicine is pretty inoffensive and doesn't bother me at all. Allegra's a beautiful name.
