ooooo.....I hope she doesn't go Dyson. I'm not sure in the States, but here in Aus, Dyson is a well known and highly popular vacuum (I think you guys call it a Hoover.... ). So the teasing would be great I think!

My first thought was Derek. It's on my own favorites list.
I also think Dylan could work.
Drake and Doyle were ones I didn't guess.
    Davey
Davis (my cousin named her son this)
    Deter

Until I read it was a boy my other guesses were:
    Daisy
    Daria
    Darcy

Lived in the USA my whole life. Dyson is also a well known vacuum company here (very upscale) I call a Vacuum a vacuum or vacuum cleaner. I have never said Hoover in my whole life. It might be a regional thing. (I live in the northeast) Either that or it's an era thing, in the fifties I think hoover dominated the market earlier on. Anyway I wouldn't name my kid after a vacuum cleaner. Oh well. probably not the name.

You know what....I think Hoover might be an English saying as opposed to in the US. But yeah, Dyson, probably off the list. I don't think I would want to be associated with a vacuum
