I think Elina is nice. I don't love it, but there is nothing wrong with it either. The pronunciation and spelling are simple enough it shouldn't be problematic. Some people might pronounce it ELL-eh-nah instead of EL-lee-nah. no biggy.
I agree with Bonnielyn and Clocktower, Eline and Elena would be pronounced differently to me as well. That being said I do prefer Elena.
I also prefer Helena, Hélène and a few of the other variants.Anxiously awaiting the arrival of Luther's little brother November 2015!
