    Does Coraline have staying power?

    I really like the name Coraline but I am worried it may be to closely tied to the book/movie and will be attached to certain period in time. What do you think?

    I adore it but gave it up once someone said it was made up. Cora, Coralie and even Caroline or Coral have deeper roots ( which I prefer.)

    I love the name, and it used to be on my list. I had no problem with the connection to the book, but in the book, people always mispronounced it as Caroline. So I figured this would probably happen in real life anyway and I took it off of my list.
    Girls: Cordelia, Phoebe, Rose

    Boys: Lucian, Alexander, Liam
