    I love Norah! But Rose also popped into my head right away. I adore this as a first name choice. Short, spunky and strong.

    I love Nora, I don't think it sounds too Irish at all. Could you use Eleanor & nn her Nora to bring your DH around to Eleanor. I don't think this sounds old & gives you lots of nn options.

    I also love Anna - it's my daughters middle name (she's Edith Anna). I don't see a problem using it with Anya as a cousin. Or you could use Annie? Or Annabelle nn Anna?

    I also love Beatrice from your list I'm seriously considering this for my 2nd daughter due in July.

    Cora is one of my favorite names... I love it much more than Nora. May gain popularity due to Downton Abbey but such a great name!
