    hel-LAY-na is how I say Helena. Such a beautiful name in either pronunciation.

    I've always seen it as Helen-a, so that's how I pronounce it (Hel-en-ah). I do know someone named Helene who pronounces it Hel-leen, and I like that as well, but Hel-en-ah is my favorite pronunciation.
    I hope to be a mom one day. For now I enjoy being a name lover.

    I love hel-AY-nah. That is also the most intuitive prn for me, unless it's followed by Bonham-Carter.

    Also, Helena is the legitimate spelling for that pronunciation (which is the Dutch.)
