    Post New List (Boys)

Warning, this list is rather long The list has shorten quickly, so I think I will take longer than a day to really think about more sensible names. Your opinions really did help. Thank you...(I have split them into two different post--boys and girls.

As mentioned before, I have lost my name list and I am trying to make a new one. Some names are new and some are old. I am still working on it, but I would like to know your thoughts so far. Which ones do you find usable in real-life, would you hire a person with this name, or any other information that you would like to include as to why or why not. Depending on your comments, it may also help me shorten what I currently have. Also, I have included enunciation with some of them, are they the same or different in what you thought. Further suggestions are welcomed.

***TOOK OFF SOME NAMES*** (Some I mostly liked the sound or appearance of and now that I have had some sleep and stopped obsessing over trying to get a new list started, I realized some are over the top. Thanks to those who have commented, and it has helped a lot. I may be adding and deleting a couple of times, so all that I ask, is for you continuous help. Thank you! Also, not all these names are listed for first name, some are middle name options.)

    Six Letters or Less
    Callum KAL-um

    Seven Letters
    Auberon OH-ber-on
    Caspian
    Leander
    Leopold

    Eight Letters or More
    Leonides
    Lysander
    Nathaniel
    Sebastian

Like, but possibly cannot use. (Unless you can change my thoughts.)
Edmund "I like this name okay, better than Ed.ward. I originally considered this variant as way to honor my dad, but now I am not so sure. Plus, I remembered a family friend's son has this name.
    Emmett
    Everett

Rethinking my middle names. Not too many "R" names I like enough to make a sibset out of, so thinking about what I like and what I think flows better.

    Six Letters or Less
    I like these-
    Amias
    Callum
    Gareth
    Tobias
    Zephyr

    But wouldn't use these-
    Aramis
    Arlo - it's lacking something
    Atlas - too mappy
    Iliad
Tobiah - prefer the 'ias' ending

    Seven Letters
    I like (actually, love!) these-
    Auberon
    Caspian
    Evander
    Gabriel
    Leander
    Leopold
    Silvius

    Wouldn't use these-
    Amadeus - Mozart
    Severus - Snape

I'm torn on Maximus. It's an ok name, but I can't get the Gluteus Maximus association out of my head.

    Eight Letters or More
    I like-
    Jonathan
    Leonides
    Lysander
    Nathaniel
    Sebastian
    Thaddeus
    Theodore
    Tiberius

    Wouldn't use-
Chandler & Channing - I just find these very ugly :/

Like, but possibly cannot use. (Unless you can change my thoughts.)
    I think you should consider-
    Caius
    Caledon
    Donovan
    Edmund
    Everett
Maximilian - much prefer to Maximus
    Percival
^^ These are all so magical & handsome and have some lovely nicknames!

    Ptolemy TAHL-ah-mee - I've always pronounced this TOLL-uh-mee

    "R" Middles
    I think these are usable-
    Ragnar
    Rhys
    Roux
    Rune

    Wouldn't use-
    Revere
Riddle - Makes me think of Voldemort
    Rock
    Rook

I like a lot of your names and though they may not all be my style, there's nothing wrong with most of them. Some of them I wouldn't use because of ties with specific people/characters (e.g. Severus) and some just don't work for me: if I was an employer faced with choosing between two identical candidates, Channing Rock and Nathaniel Rhys, I'd be more likely to employ Nathaniel
    William ♠ Thomas ♠ Peter ♠ Henry ~ Rose ♠ Alice ♠ Ivy ♠ Lowenna
Mowesi ~ Henwyn Kernewek ~ Mebyon

    Six Letters or Less
Amias - Cute as a button!
Aramis - I think of the perfume. Other than that, a fine name.
Arlo - It's nice. Like Argo more.
Atlas - The myth behind this name sickens me. I could not use it.
Callum - Makes me think of Jamie, whom I adore. Good one.
Gareth - Yay! I am heading towards the Gareth-love camp (if there's such a thing). Maybe you'd like my number one favouritest boy love Gawain?
Iliad - Yes, I agree with Dindle. Would be weird...
Tobiah - Heavy. Somber. Beards and pipes and tweed. Ok, kind of sexy. Tobias is nice too.
Tobias - And there he is! Prefer Tobias really.
Zephyr - Cool dude name with wind in his hair. Love.

    Seven Letters
Amadeus - It's a nice name, but I always think of the movie, and he is so annoying...
Auberon - Good name. Absolutely striking.
Caspian - Sweet, spicy and sea-like.
Evander - Hauntingly beautiful and adventurous.
    Gabriel - Beautiful.
Leander - Oh, I love this. Leander is a good good name. Watery and romantic.
Leopold - YES! I feel like jumping when I hear/see Leopold. Such a sweet, cool and quirky name.
Maximus - I prefer other Max names, like Maksim and Maximilian.
Severus - Oh, brooding. The good way. Like Alan Rickman
Silvius - Prefer Silvan, but I know you've got a thing for seven's. Foresty and mysterious.

    Eight Letters or More
Chandler - Love! I watched some Friends episodes today, and he is so cool. Lovely name.
Channing - I only think of mr Tatum. And I'm not a fan. Too old I reckon. (Me, not him.)
Jonathan - Lovely and sweet name.
Leonides - I like it so much more with an a. Leonidas.
Lysander - Lovely name, but so tied to that stupid AMND character.
Nathaniel - I never came around to this one. I do like Nathan though.
    Sebastian - Romantic! Swoon...
Thaddeus - Quirky, cool, funky and fun.
Theodore - It's a nice name, but not your best one.
Tiberius - This is when I need to use über-cool.

Like, but possibly cannot use. (Unless you can change my thoughts.)
Caius - I like this. It's fun! And Roman!
Caledon - Yeah, I get this one-
    Castiel - And this one.
Cato - Oh I like Cato. It's a nice name no one really uses. Why I wonder...
    Colton - Eh,no.
Donovan - Looks extremely dated to me.
Edmund - Lovely. I think of that darn King Lear man, but a nice name.
Emmett - Too girlie for me.
Emrys - Oh, need to be on the list. It's fantastic! Magical! Arthurian!
Everett - Yeah, this is nice too.
Gaius - I like this better than Caius, but I'm unsure... teasing potential.
Maximilian - Ah, there's a nice Max name! Like this one.
Percival - Swooning... almost. On my list, even though I know I won't use it. It's sweet, romantic and fun.
Perseus - I have this as a middle for my number one boy combo. I love it, he's my favourite Greek Mythology hero. So cool.
Ptolemy - I say TOLL-uh-mee (pretty sure that's the right way). I like it very much

    "R" Middles
Ragnar - LOVE!!!!!!!! My grandfather's name. It's beautiful.
    Revere - Eh, no.
    Rhys - Yes!
    Riddle - No. Creepy.
Rock - Another no I'm afraid.
Rook - Yes, this is cool.
    Roux - Oh, yeah!
Rune - And another yes! Feels dated to me, but it's still nice.
