I like it and don't think it is too girly, but I also LOVE the suggestion of Rhys Ambrose.
Mom to Alexander Patrick (11), Madelyn Esther (8), Genevieve Susan (3), and Theodore James (stillborn at 37 weeks on February 3, 2014). Expecting #5 (a girl!) in May 2015.

Thank you all for your advice and help. I´ve really tried to see if I´d fall for any of the other combos charlieandperry1 suggested, but they just dont seem like my name. To me Rhett Ambrose has a civil war era charm. But we´ll see if it will be used.

Not a fan of Rhett, mostly due to Gone With the Wind. As for Civil War charm...

(Jefferson) Davis, Abraham, Lincoln, Jefferson (Davis), Braxton (Bragg), Ulysses (Simpson Grant), (Robert Edward) Lee, (Joshua) Lawrence (Chamberlain), (William Tecumseh) Sherman, and Sullivan (Ballou) all have a Civil War charm without the Hollywood connotation... I also love Thomas, nn Tad (like Abe Lincoln's son).

I think it's handsome, but it sounds a little like "Red Rose" to me.
