    Someone already suggested this, but I was thinking Cade, too. I love the name Cade for a boy. The only drawback I think is that people may hear Cate.

    Another option is to go with a name that shares Catherine's origin (Greek) or meaning (pure).

    Some boys' names that mean pure are:
    Cato (kind of cool, I think)
    Catarino (perhaps a bit out there)
    Zachary, Zach (classic, in the same style as Catherine)
    Zaccheus
