How would you honor a Barbara?

I wouldn't use Barbara as is, but how would you make it usable?

    Her middle name, birth month/flower?

Varvara is the Russian version, which is slightly more usable, and far less dated.

An international variation, such as Babette, or Barbara's middle name might be more usable. Barbara's not the greatest namesake!
