I thought Nye-ahm. And will continue to do so, ha. I like my semi-phonetic pronunciations.I’m just trying to behave as I think a friend should behave. Granted, I haven’t had much practice.

Think I'll stick with it then. I guess it's rarely going to be spoken after all, and anyway I didn't know how to say Hermione before the first Harry Potter film came out, so I'm sure I read the first couple of books with a different pronunciation in my head and it never did any harm. If people know it's Neeve they'll say Neeve, if they think it's Nee-amh or Ny-amh so be it, or they'll look it up.

I would use it no matter what.
From looking at it, I would think Neem, but as a name lover I know it's Neeve.-lists currently under construction-
