Names you love but are too 'out there' and Guilty Pleasures? :)
I've heard a lot of kookie names on this site and were wondering what your top 'guilty pleasure' names, or names you love but wouldn't be able to use because they're just a little too 'out there'?
Would you still use a name you loved even if it was very strange?

"Would you still use a name you loved even if it was very strange?" This is subjective. I know my parents will hate my top choices for boy names: Kian and Soren. To them, those are "weird" names... So, I would not use a name I felt was weird... not which others thought was weird. Also, I would hesitate to use a name not in the top 1000 or similar to a top 1000 name. For instance, I've always liked Emiliana, but it's generally not in the top 1000. It's similar enough to top names like Emilia and Amelia, that I don't think it will be a problem. I do have rules for myself, like I will not intentionally misspell a name, use a noun as a name that is not traditionally a name (i.e. Sunrise), and I will not apply a non-unisex name to the wrong gender (i.e. Hunter or Kyle for a girl). There are names in those categories that I like, but I feel like it wouldn't be fair to do that to my daughter, as she's not getting to choose.
Guilty pleasures: Lark, Solstice, Hyacinth, Annecy (I might actually consider this one), Shenandoah, Phoenix, Suri, Isis, Saffron, Vienna, Cressida, Cyan, Callista, Cassiopeia, Renata, Monet, Remy, Verity, Avalon, Avonlea, Avril, Samaria, Sheba, Katrina, Kareena, Kimia, Amira, Amina, Katayoun, Anoushka, Siobhan, Eugenia...
Some of these might be usable as middle names... or for a more daring person.
