Hi! I just want to know on my favorite names! I'll list them. Then, give your opinions on each one! You could tell me if you like it or not, and give me a reason why you do or don't like, and if you think it could ever work on a real child. (NOTE: I'm not planning on having any kids any time soon, since I'm only 13, but I just want to know what people think of my favorites! *Nicknames in asterisks*)

Christopher *No NN, but I wouldn't be devastated if he ended up as Chris*
    Finlay *Finn*
    Louis (Loo-ee) *Lou*
    Matthew *Matt*
    Olivier (o-LIV-yay)
    Paris *Parry*

    Amelia *Lia or Amy*
    Annika *Anni*
    Olympia *Olly* (Thanks, imogeneve. )
    Phaedra *Phae*

August - I love August, but for some reason and I'm sure some people will cringe when I say this, but I prefer it for girls.
    Brody - not my taste
Christopher - a good classic, but not my taste. Also I'm pretty sure that even if you plan to have no nickname, Chris will be used as soon as they start school.
David - another good classic, if I didn't know so many I'd probably consider it myself.
    Desmond - not a fan.
    Evander - not a fan
Finlay - love the nn Finn, but prefer Finnegan to Finlay.
Galen - would be wary of the having anything that sounds like 'gay' in a boys name, school kids can be nasty.
Ivan - Don't like as it is the name of Australia's most notorious mass murderer.
    James - good strong classic
    Jared - not a fan
    Jordan - not a fan
    Leo - adore
Liam - very, very popular here right now.
    Louis - cute
    Matthew - easy, popular classic
    Niall - not a fan
    Olivier - I prefer Oliver
Paris - would be worried about the Paris Hilton connection, it'd take a very strong boy to pull this off through school.
    Romeo - swoon
    Tristan - nice
    Zane - I prefer Dane

Amelia - pretty, but very popular here
    Annika - pretty
    Asha - love this name
Audrey - very, very popular here
Daisy - I like Daisy, not sure about the nn Daze
Della - Pretty, but I'd prefer it if it were short for something, maybe Adelaide?
    Jade - pretty
    Jenna - not a fan
Lake - I think of this as a boys name.
Lilah - I prefer the spelling Lyla
Mia - pretty, could also be a nn for Amelia
    Natalya - not a fan
Olympia - gorgeous. Olly or Pia.
    Phaedra - very nice
    Piper - not a fan
Summer - a guilty pleasure of mine
    Winter - so pretty

@imogeneve Wow! Thanks for your response! About Galen: Yeah, I figured as much. It's more of a guilty pleasure than a name I would ever actually use. Maybe for a dog or something. lol And Paris: I forgot to add the NN for that one. Parry.

August - I prefer Augustus, but August is nice as well. I think it's very handsome.
Brody - not my style, but it's not terrible
Christopher - I prefer Christian, but I know it's not everyone's style. Christopher is nice though. I like the nicknames Chris, Topher, and Kit. It would depend on each person which one would work best.
David - never been a fan of as I find it kind of boring
Desmond - not my style, but not bad
Evander - love this! It's grown on me a lot recently. Evan is a cute nickname.
Finlay - If you want the nn Finn I prefer Finnick. Finley would be a better spelling in my opinion.
Ivan - not my style, but not bad
James - love! especially as a middle name. This is my favorite boy name of all time with Henry being a close second
Jared - love! And surprising not as popular as David, William, Joshua, etc. Really underrated
Jordan - this is actually one of the few names I despise, but that's my personal taste. I know tons of people who like tihs name
Leo - love! I love it as a nickname to Leonardo and Leonidias among others or just on it's own
Liam - adore this name! I have found it goes with a lot of names. Liam Patrick has been on my list forever.
Louis - cute, but not really my style, although I would love to meet a Louis. (Especially if his last name is Tomlinson )
Matthew - kind of boring to me, but it's not terrible. I adore Matthias though. Or Matteo.
Niall - too One Direction for me. I have a feeling this name is going to SOAR among teen moms in the next couple of years
    Olivier - pretty adorable
Paris - not a fan for a boy OR a girl
Romeo - not my style, but I like it. I would be refreshing to hear a Romeo now a days
Tristan - absolutely LOVE! I think it's so handsome. I have Tristan Roy on my list (Roy is after my grandfather) and my mom loves it as well
Zane - cool without being trendy, at least to me. I think it would make a great middle name. I also love Lane.

Amelia - adore! I love Mia and Amy as a nickname. I was never fond of Amy, but Doctor Who changed that
Annika - not my style, but it's not horrible
Asha - love! I can't help but think of Asha Greyjoy from Game of Thrones. <3
Audrey - adore this much more than Aubrey. Good choice.
Daisy - a little too cutesy for me, but would be a nice middle name
Della - not my style, but not terrible. Sounds a bit dated though, even though I've never heard of it
Jade - I don't mind it as a middle name, but it doesn't wow me at all
Jenna - adore! Hard to come up with combos though...
    Lola - cute
Lilah - not my style, but pretty
Mia - i prefer it as a nickname to Amelia
Natalya - I prefer Natalia. Pretty name
Olympia - not my style, but it's kind of cool. I'd love to meet an Olympia
Phaedra - not my style, but I don't hate it
Piper - I go back and forth with this name. Sometimes I love it and sometimes it's just meh to me. I prefer it as a middle name
Summer - not my style, but I don't hate it
    Susannah - not my style
Winter - ehh I think the time for Winter has come and gone. I would advise going against both Summer and Winter in the future though.
