    Abraham

What are the chances that Abraham will spike in popularity due to the success of the recent Lincoln film? I guess we won't know until next year's Social Security name list comes out, but please speculate for me. Think the movie will inspire baby Abrahams?

    No, I don't.

Abraham is an extremely old name, and though the trend for using vintage names might make it rise a bit--I don't think there's any chance of a great spike.

I think Abraham will rise, but I don't think it will become very popular. Lincoln seems more likely to rise higher because it is the trendier of the two.

I agree. It will rise a tad, but not much. The main trends right now seems to be boys' names ending with N/ -TT/ -ER/ -AH/ -S. Abraham is quite old, like Amos or Lance... names that don't seem to be reappearing. If it does come back, I think it won't be for a good 3-5 years.

This. Abraham is already a fairly popular name (190's) but I don't think it will rise much more.
