Be careful with names that are not pronounced how theyre spelled.
My son has a super cute Irish name (I think!). Cian. Pronounced Key In. As much as I love the name, I honestly would go back and choose something different if I could. It is an endless headache. NO ONE can pronounce it.

I don't like it because the two ways people would pronounce it rhyme with skeevy and heavy. I really don't think any girl would like having that name.

I checked Keavy out on Behind the Names and they say that it is pronounced KEE-vee. It is an anglicized form of CAOIMHE which they say is pronounced KEE-va or KWEE-va. Keh-vee seems like a mispronunciation.

Caoimhe is Irish (KEE-va). Keavy (KEE-vee) isn't really Irish at all. It's an Anglicization. Personally, I don't like the cutesy sound.
    All the best,
