    Two-Syllable Girl Name

I'm getting really frustrated that I'm not LOVING anything for baby #3 right now. My daughters are Ruby & Lucy and I'm hoping to stick with another 2-syllable name. It doesn't "have" to end in the "e" sound, but my husband thinks it does so they all "go together". Our top contenders right now are Amy, Annie, Sadie, and Maggie. The middle names we are considering are Mae, Kate, Rose, Eve, and Snow. My favorite is Sadie and my husband's favorite is Maggie. I think Sadie feels like Ruby and Lucy in that it's an older name with a little bit of spunk. Maggie feels maybe....too sweet? I am afraid Annie is too plain and Amy is dated. So, give me any two-syllable names that you think are old-fashioned, but spunky. I'm still waiting for that "THAT'S IT!" feeling.

Out of the names you mentioned I adore Sadie and think it goes well with your girls names and I really like Maggie with your girls as a stand alone name I also like the suggestions of Poppy and Ivy.
    I'd suggest:
    Marnie
    Molly
    Audrey
    Sylvie/Sylvia

    Edie/Edith
    Lottie
    Chloe
    Hazel
    Esme
    Greta
    Mary
    Norah
    Vera

I've bolded the ones I think would really work well

I agree with the suggestion of Ivy, that was my first thought. Ruby, Lucy and Ivy are lovely together, all the right balance of spunk and sweet. I also second the suggestions of Cora, Mabel, Poppy, Molly, Marnie, Sylvie, Esme, Mary & Hazel.

I like Maggie and Annie, and even Sadie, but I feel like they feel far more nicknamey than Ruby and Lucy, which stand up as names in their own right much better.

    My suggestions would be:

    Ruby, Lucy & Abbey
    Ruby, Lucy & Evie
    Ruby, Lucy & Emmy
    Ruby, Lucy & Jolie
    Ruby, Lucy & Posy
    Ruby, Lucy & Bonnie
    Ruby, Lucy & Chelsea
    Ruby, Lucy & Clara
    Ruby, Lucy & Olive
    Ruby, Lucy & Willow
    Ruby, Lucy & Nora(h)
    Ruby, Lucy & Darby
    Ruby, Lucy & Gemma
    Ruby, Lucy & Hanna(h)
    Ruby, Lucy & Holly
    Ruby, Lucy & Katie
    Ruby, Lucy & Zoe
    Ruby, Lucy & Nancy
    Ruby, Lucy & Kitty
    Ruby, Lucy & Penny
    Ruby, Lucy & Tuesday
    Ruby, Lucy & Wendy
    Ruby, Lucy & Cleo
    Ruby, Lucy & Camille
    Ruby, Lucy & Eden
    Ruby, Lucy & Elise
    Ruby, Lucy & Cara
    Ruby, Lucy & Juno
    Ruby, Lucy & Noelle
    Ruby, Lucy & Odette
    Ruby, Lucy & Pippa
    Ruby, Lucy & Nina
    Ruby, Lucy & Raina
    Ruby, Lucy & Phoebe
    Ruby, Lucy & Dinah
    Ruby, Lucy & Alice
    Ruby, Lucy & Tessa
    Ruby, Lucy & Veda
    Ruby, Lucy & Piper
    Ruby, Lucy & Arwen
    Ruby, Lucy & Mila
    Ruby, Lucy & Iris

I think the best -y choices are Bonnie (Bonnie Mae), Holly (Holly Mae) & Phoebe (Phoebe Rose), and the best non -y choices are Olive (Olive Mae), Willow (Willow Eve), Gemma (Gemma Rose), Alice (Alice Mae) & Cleo (Cleo Rose). I'm also not particularly fond of Juno, but I think it would work pretty well given the strong 'u' sound.
