    Talking Lottie

First of all, I say that's not for my baby on the way because we have almost decided on her name. So if you like to help only parents naming their child-to-be, feel free to skip this post.
Recently I noticed people started using nicknames on it own. I love the idea because there are so many wonderful nickname that do no need to be a short form of something. I've heard Evie, Lulu, Nellie, Hattie() and Lottie. The latter one made me think seriously. I really love Lottie on its own but only can imagine in on a child or a young woman, not a grown-up or a old lady. Maybe that's because I don't know any Lotties but I wonder : what do you think of using Lottie as a full name? And could you think of some names that can be shortened to Lottie(besides Charlotte)?

I actually like the idea of Lottie by itself. I think it is one of the few nickname names that ages well.
Full name ideas: Carlotta, Loretta, or Lotus

I think it can be quite cute, and I rather use Lottie on its own than say, Lulu. Still, my top preference is using it as a nickname for names like Carlotta, Lieslotte, Lotus, Otillie, Loretta (off the top of my head).

I actually do see Lottie on an old woman, as well as on a young child/teen. It's just on a grown-up I have trouble seeing it. It is not a horrible name though, and I think there are people who could pull it off. I think it would be better as a nn for any of these names,

I'm sure there are more, but these are the names I thought of right away, to go with Lottie
If I had a baby right now, I'd name it,
    Scarlett Amelia or Emerson Joseph.
I also like Cashel, Gabriel, Genevieve, & Juliette. + So much more.
    I'm Ashley btw, and I'm 20!
