    Opinions on Flynn

I just remembered that I knew a girl in High School named Flynn, and I thought it was the coolest name - she wore it very well. What do you all think? Could it be a solution to my epic quest for a second girl's name which is rare and unusual, doesn't end in -a or -el/elle, and could be used with mn Julia?
Baby boy due October 2014! Current tentative name:

    Sequoia Orion

I'm sorry, but I dislike Flynn on a boy and on a girl it's just awful. There are a TON of feminine options that fit your criteria.

With Finn and Quin much more popular than Flynn these days I think it would constantly be misheard, especially from a lisping toddler. I would also tend to assume it was a male name but that might be because Finn/Findley/Finnegan is very popular among the many Irish kids I know.

If we'd had boys the list was: Godfrey, Seamus, Alexander, Michael, Felix, Peter, Ignatius & Sebastian.

I don't like Flynn for a girl. I really like the suggestion of Maren Julia.

    I think of it as a boy's name, I'm not a fan.
