    It's very soft and female sounding, but it care work on a boy. I don't like the name at all though. Makes me thing of "A dare..." and sounds incomplete, so I don't take it seriously.

    I like the name Adair a lot, and it feels to me like it'd work much better for a boy than a girl.

    That's currently the name of the street I live on! I like it, but just from telling people my address I've gotten a lot of "I dare ya!" jokes.

    I really like it on a boy... I can't imagine it on a girl. I think of an intelligent, handsome, and well-mannered boy. I especially like that this name would fit a child and an adult equally as well.
