Either! But preferably for a boy. I asked about the name Brooklyn Max as a poll on another website forever ago and the results were not pretty. I still think it's a very handsome name though and would consider the name if it fit the "mood".

Technically, it's a place name so it SHOULD be unisex. However, in North America, it's VERY predominantly a girls name. I don't like it for either gender.
    All the best,
    Mischa.

I've never met a Brooklyn, and only ever heard of Brooklyn Beckham, so I think of it as a boy's name.

...am I just crazy? Brooklyn is a girl's name. Like, it just is. Naming a boy Brooklyn sounds so weird to me. No bueno. Noooo bueno.

Brooklyn is a very popular/trendy girl's name where I live. I have never heard of naming a boy this. It would be like naming a boy Elizabeth.
