    I think it could be used for a girl but it's not feminine. It would sound masculine on a girl.

    I'd use it just to get to nn Audie, in honor of the badass Texan and war hero Audie Murphy. :-)

    I like Auden for either gender but I think it works better on a boy. It's not a common name so I don't think you should worry if it's feminine or not. I like the literary connection.

    This is going to sound crazy, but when I see the name all I can picture is a wicked hot guy at a bar you're too afraid to talk to. Swoon. I think it's an awesome name.
