    Is Beatrice Ramona too much?

I'm really loving Beatrice nicknamed Betty. Betty is the husband's grandmother, and Ramona is my late grandmother. Does putting Beatrice and Ramona together make too strong of a Ramona Quimby vibe? My second option would be Beatrice Violet/Viola for my great-grandmother (Ramona's mother.) Our last name is two syllables and begins with F. So, what do you think? Beatrice Ramona F., Beatrice Violet F., or Beatrice Viola F.?

I think as long as your daughter doesn't introduce herself as Beatrice Ramona, it'll be okay with the little kids. However, I think Beatrice Viola knocks Beatrice Ramona out of the park. Viola is so much prettier!

I don't think it's too overloaded unless you planned on calling her Beatrice Ramona as one name which you aren't. I think Beatrice Ramona nn Betty is darling, but Beatrice Viola would be my second choice (so literary!)

I think it's fine. Especially since Beatrice is almost never referred to as Beatrice in the book. She's always referred to as Beezus.

Oh gosh I never realised it until I read the other posts. I don't think it really matters though and I LOVE Ramona.
