Matilda Emerald sounds amazing, more than enough to make up for the loss of Sybilla (which I am still in mourning for), and Milla is lovely - I like Maud/e, Tilly and Attie myself - I actually know a girl called Atlanta who goes by Attie, and she finds it very annoying when everyone mishears her name as Hattie. Just a thought. But Milla wouldn't have such problems, obviously. Hmm, I don't really think I am qualified to answer this one - Beatrice is a very popular name where I live and I know so many that I just can't see how it isn't a normal name, if that make sense. But if American Berries say it won't rise up that far, I'm going to agree with them. I like Isadora (and think of Isadora Duncan) but slightly prefer Isabetta I think - I like Idie/Ida and Ibby (hey, if Bess can work for Elizabeth, why not Ibby for Isadora?) I too would pronounce it EL-suh spelt like Elsa but I'm sure, with all the Ehmmuhleiighbelle and such like that seem to be wandering about, no-one will look twice at an Elza, surely? Again, I don't know, sorry. Veronica could be either Vera or Via, but I quite like Nica/Nicky also. Anyway, good luck - Matilda "Milla" Emerald is very pretty!

It seems like it might be the one! A good name, through and through.

BY the way: Elea at britishbabynames did a great blog post on Matilda (link) if you want to fall a little bit more in love...
