Not a fan of it on a boy; but I think it could be cute on a girl. It sounds very feminine to me, and even a little cutesy.~inside this teenberry's mind ~~Please vote on constantly changing middle name possibilities (updated 11/27/13)

David Boreanaz has this great talent of making girly names (Angel, Seeley) feel masculine. If it wasn't for him I wouldn't be able to see Seeley on a guy because of Celia and Celie. That said, I can't not hear "silly" when I hear Seeley said out loud. Seeley has a great meaning, but it just sounds, well, silly to me.♂ | Samuel ◊ Edward ◊ George ◊ Silas ◊ Arthur ◊ Ezra ◊ Freeman ◊ Dean ◊ Jasper ◊ Solomon

Sounds like a feminine nickname to me.
