I appreciate the feedback, thanks so much to everyone who responded. You guys gave some very thoughtful suggestions. I made a list of the names I will take more time to consider, here it is:

Grady (although this is rather common-ish, I like the GR beginning with my last name)
    Tormy
    Ebbe
    Dobry
Woody (however, I already know what my husband will say!)
    Eske
    Landry
    Thierry

I found the suggestions of Landry and Thierry rather interesting. They have the same meaning (ruler) as Richard, which is my dad's name. I have always wanted to honor my father in one of my son's names but honestly and blunty, I do not like his name. This might be a good compromise. I read that Thierry is pronounced Tye-ree...not sure I love that pronunciation. Does anyone have any incite on the proper pronunciation and if I am saying it correctly? I also really like Landry. Does anyone know a Landry? I have never met one but I know there is an actress with Landry as a surname, which is not ideal. Thoughts? IYHO is Landry trendy?
