It's defiantly Call-der, I know several people with this surname.

I'd pronounce it call-der, first syllable rhyming with ball, but I can understand how it could be said as cal-der, rhyming with pal, giving nn Cal.

I like Calder Ezra best of your combos.

    Anna Katherine * Lydia Ellen * Zoe Madeleine * Phoebe ___ * Imogen ___ * Emilia ___
    Samuel * Thomas * Charlie * Reuben * Oliver * George

Looks like I'm in the minority- I'd say CAL-der. I think the pronunciation just varies with your accent.

I like Calder Ezra the most from your list, but the 2-2 syllable flow isn't quite right with these two. How about:

    Calder Joseph
    Calder Benjamin
    Calder Isaac
    Calder Daniel

    William ♠ Thomas ♠ Peter ♠ Henry ~ Rose ♠ Alice ♠ Ivy ♠ Lowenna
Mowesi ~ Henwyn Kernewek ~ Mebyon

It's pronounced "call-der" and I think you can still have the nn Cal (rhymes with pal).

    Calder Sebastian
    Calder Bartholomew
    Calder Thaddeus
    Calder Augustus
    Calder Julian
    Calder Dominic
    Calder Barnaby
    Calder Theodore
    Calder Joseph
    Calder Timothy
    All the best,
    Mischa.

Well,I'm getting responses that rhyme with pal and that rhyme with ball...Call-der comes more naturally to me so I guess we'll go with that!
