    Shirley, Joyce are totally usable. I knew a Joyce in HS and that was only 5/6 years ago.

    I don't see any coming back honestly they are so nanaish and I know as well my mum would hate them she calls Alice and Harriet old lady names and constantly tells me "At least those names are better then Freda". Maybe at a stretch Shirley after great grandmas and Giselda because of the nickname Zelda which is spunky and cool.

    My cousin, bless her heart, is using Bertha as a middle name for her new baby.

    And I have a friend who's mom is named Gay Ann, but she typically goes by Gay. And she is one of the coolest women I know.

    But from this list, I think Ethel, Gertrude (I LOVE the nickname Trudy) and Griselda (also love Zelda) could work. Possibly Joyce, Myrna and Shirley too.
