    Girl sibling for Zara?

    Hi!

I have a 2.5 yr old daughter named Zara and am due to have my second baby in a couple of months. We don't know the sex of the baby. We have a boy name chosen - Luka. We are having difficulty loving another girls name as much as we loved Zara.

    • We are both of European background
    • Our surname is three syllables and ends in 'I'
    • We like short names (no more than three syllables) with a bit of spunk.

    Girls names that we like:
    Matea
Lucia (although if we had a boy in the future we feel as if we couldn't then use Luka which is our fave boy name)
Zoe (although don't like the idea of 2 'Z' sisters, maybe a bit matchy?

Names that I like, but that my husband feels are not suitable
    Ruby
    Lucy
    Lola
    Luella
    Scarlet
    Cleo

I would LOVE to hear any other suggestions, or thoughts on the names we do like.

    Thank you in advance!

As I started reading your post I thought Cleo, but saw your husband vetoed it, perhaps Chloe instead?
Other suggestions; Ava, Ingrid, Greta, Zali (but I agree on the 'matchy' issue), Coco, Astrid
Fave names: Astrid, Anise, Annika, Cleo, Gabrielle, Holly, Marnie, Mardi, Miranda, Miriam, Poppy, Sydney

I'm from Australia, so when I'm referring to popularity I'm using Aussie lists.
