    As everyone has basically said, the pronunciation is Mayve.
    Just to say, if you like the idea of "Meeve", you could maybe consider another Irish name, Niamh, pronounced "Neeve".

    My daughter is Maeve. Pronounced Mayve. If you like Meeve, spell is that way because the a is there for a reason, think of the name Mae. I like the suggestion of Niamh for you, that is a beautiful name closer to the sound you want but is a real name.

    Not a huge fan of pronouncing it Meeve... I read it as MAYve with a long A.

    Niamh is lovely, and would definitely be a better option than pronouncing Maeve like Meeve.
