Red face Have middle, need first :)

DH and I are trying to name our little boy that's due in 8 weeks. We have a middle name chosen - it's a family name and one we both like, Everette. However, we can't seem to find a first name that is "it". We were oddly in the same position with our DD and she didn't get a first name until the day after she was born (a name that I still question).

DH seems to like biblical boy names. Popularity or trendiness don't bother him in the least. I like classic, strong, traditional names. This go around I don't care as much about popularity but I don't want a name that's *too* trendy. I also like longer names with lots of nickname options. I also like surnames as firsts.

Any suggestions? Our last name is Wilson so the name will be ______ Everette Wilson.

    I would spell it Everett.
I somehow feel I prefer it pared with other surname names, not sure if it is your style though. But let's see:
    Blaise Everette
    Zane Everette
    Levi Everette
    Nolan Everette
    Calvin Everette
    Oscar Everette
    Harvey Everette
    Birch Everette
    Lennox/Lennon Everette
    Sawyer Everette
    Joseph Everette
    Channing Everette
    River Everette
    Logan Everette
    Holden Everette
    What do you think?

I would consider classic, strong, traditional names that are also Biblical. None of these are trendy today.

    Joseph Everette Wilson
    Daniel Everette Wilson
    David Everette Wilson
    Peter Everette Wilson
    Matthew Everette Wilson
    Mark Everette Wilson
    John Everette Wilson
I like simple yet versatile names that work well for the athlete, the comic, the genius, and the judge.

I would spell it Everett too. The "ette" spelling looks feminine.

    I like:

    Luke Everett Wilson
    Logan Everett Wilson
    Nathaniel Everett Wilson
    Zachary Everett Wilson
    Benjamin Everett Wilson

    Favorite Biblical Names:
    Thaddeus (Thad)
    Jonah
    Matthias
    Judah (Jude)
    Obadiah (Obe)
    Caleb

    Traditional Names:
    James
    Henry
    Edward
    George

Also, I think most names go well with Wilson so I don't think you'll have any problem there.
