    I want to like Cornelia. But I can't get past the "corny" sound at the beginning. So of your options, I prefer Ameila. Have you considered Cordelia? Much better meaning, nearly the same sound.

    I choose Amelia. I don't like Cornelia at all.

    I agree with this. If she was Cordelia you could always use Delia as nickname. Added bonus is it no longer means 'horned one'.

    I prefer Amelia to Cornelia. How about Cordelia? To me, it is much sweeter and friendlier than Cornelia. I just focus in on the corn in cornelia.

    I slightly prefer Cornelia, but I'd like Amelia better if it wasn't crazy popular. I like previous posters' suggestions of Cordelia. How about Emilia or Aemilia?
