I love Sparrow for either gender. It's on my list, I'd love to meet a little Sparrow! It's a neat name!

I love all of your options. I prefer Eliza to Elizabeth, however. I secretly love Sparrow, too. So I say, go for it!

Why not? With a "safe" middle name, Sparrow could work as a first name. I see other bird names thrown around on these forums all the time. That said, Elizabeth is really boring in the middle spot. I would vastly prefer to see something more interesting like Sparrow Coraline, Sparrow Eliza, Sparrow Louisa, Sparrow Julia, or Sparrow Lucia.

I think it would be fine, you could use Ro or Birdie as a nn and since it is your ultimate favourite and you both agree on it then why not?
Also, I love the fn/mn combinations of Sparrow Magnolia & Sparrow Josephine.

    3. I have an aunt Robin and a (passed) uncle Starling. Plus cousins named Sailor, Memphis, and Storm.

Until you got to the family names I was like no! But then I had read the family names and I was oh this is totally meant to be. Starling! Never heard that one, but it seems especially daring as a boy's name. Then there are unusual S names Starling, Sailor, and Storm and Sparrow! fits right in. I love it now.
I would use Elizabeth as the middle how perfect.
