    Mariposa...... the barbie commercial???!!

So I've seen a commercial several times for the new Mariposa Barbie doll. As rediculous as it sounds, I think this name is becoming more popular because of that?! What do you think? Is this even a recognized name ....

Well, it's Spanish for butterfly. I've never seen the commercial. I suppose the imagery is nice, and she could go by Mari or Posy. It's cute, but definitely not my style. A little too cute, I guess.

the Mariposa is a butterfly, the name has been found in video games..yeah, I can see it being used. Certainly if Mimosa is listed on Nameberry, perhaps Mariposa should be as well. As should Temijun

Oh interesting! That is neat that it's Spanish for butterfly. I wonder why it's not listed on nameberry... And that makes me wonder how many other names are not listed.

The Mariposa movie is like 5 years old. I wonder why they're still airing commercials. Anyways, Mariposa is Spanish for butterfly, and it is in fact in the Nameberry database. I like it, especially the Posy nn. It's one of my guilty pleasures.
