We have a 2000 Dodge minivan that has travelled 180k miles, survived two toddlers and enough French fries that have fallen on the floor to end world hunger. Last year, we decided to name our car to commemorate her twelfth birthday.
My brother wanted to call her Rustbucket, or Rusty for short.
My mom wanted to call her Sweetie.
And I wanted to call her Molasses, or Molly for short. I thought it was really clever, but according to Mom our car was 'offended' by our comments.
