Honestly sometimes i wonder if i am pale enough! although i got my skin tone from the irish side i think. Unless it's mostly irish and a bit of something else.... like a mix of skin tones, genetically is that possible?

    Do you do

Fake tan? Yes, I absolutely love having a sunkissed look without risking cancer and other illnesses by excessive sun bathing. I regularly use an organic fake tan. I just like how it looks.
Bleached hair? No, I don't particularly like that look, however I do have a full head of highlights. My hair is a golden blonde.
Lots of makeup? On a daily basis, I don't wear much. Just a little foundation, mascara and lipbalm. But for special occasions, evening time, and parties, etc? I probably take it too far. I wear a total full face of it, very heavy, including fake eyelashes. Again, I just like how it looks. I also use heated rollers in my hair and tease it so its bouncy.
Tattoos? I am tattooed, but they are discreet, subtle tattoos that cannot be seen when I'm fully clothed.

Not enough makeup? I definitely prefer the natural look for day time. I have plenty of friends who wear little to no make up and it looks fantastic - I'm just not comfortable wearing little myself.
too pale? Absolutely not! I like the sunkissed look, but I like pale skin too.

I don't think there's such thing as good or bad in this situation. Its all down to how you personally feel about it yourself, different strokes for different folks.

I don't dye my hair or use fake tan and I wear very little make up. I have three small tattoos and some piercings and am very pale. I have to buy my foundation from a company who produce make up specifically for pale skin, lol.

Why are you bothered about your skin tone anyway? Pale, olive, creamy, dark... what does it matter? One isn't any better or worse than another

N.B: I don't include 'chav orange' as a valid skin tone

Fake tan? I do prefer the sun, but living in Britain I do go to spray on tan places to keep a nice glow. And I wear lots of sunscreen when I sunbathe.
Bleached hair? If done nicely, it can look really pretty. Mine is medium chocolate brown at the moment, my natural shade. But I've had it lighter at some points...
lots of makeup? I love make up. Mascara, eye shadow, eye liner, lipgloss... blush and powder and everything. But not TOO much. I don't go out looking like I'm about to join the circus.
Tattoos? I have three tattoos, but they're all in such light pink-ish colours they're hardly visible. One on my back, and one on each foot. Each of them has significance to me.

    or
not enough makeup? I look nice without make up too, but I prefer to wear some. I feel naked without it!
too pale? Beautiful pale skin is pretty, but I prefer mine tanned.

I don't think you should worry too much, Leona. Cate Blanchett and Kate Winslet are two pale ladies that come to mind. They're lovely. Also if you check out the Berry Faces thread you'll see lots of pale girls!
