Sister to Victor (and Emmanuel)
We have one son named Victor David and if we have another boy he will be named Emmanuel Frederick. We are casting about for a girl's name that is in a similar vein - something that works in English and Spanish (doesn't have to sound identical) - something that has some antique charm or a countrified sound to it - something classic but not heavily used. We have thrown out Aurelia (my husband didn't like it), Rosetta (the language learning software association is too strong) and Luisa (love it but it doesn't work well with our last name, which sounds like Sail-In). Berries have thrown some great ideas our way but we are still looking and searching for The One. If you were going to name a sister to Victor David, what would you choose? Any suggestions would be MUCH appreciated!

Victor is a strong and classic name so I would choose something in a similar style for a girl. I think these names would be lovely for Victor's sister. Fun fact: Victor Emmanuel (Vittorio Emanuele) was the last King of Italy.

I love Aurelia it's a shame that your husband throw that name out. Luisa doesn't really work with your surname But Rosetta is cute despite the language software association...
