Anything inspired by "Game of Thrones": Cersei (Circe), Arya, Sansa, etc. I'm sorry but you have to think about the child you are naming and there is about a 0% chance she will think any of these names (or the HBO show/books) are cool.

"Cringe worthy" may not be the right term for it but certain names "disappoint" me. Anything trendy like Bentley, Kenzie, Caylee, Kaitlyn, Kinslee, Kadence, etc. definitely irk me. Just about anything that ends in -lyn. Anytime I meet a little girl with one of these names, I feel slightly deflated for a few seconds.

I have irrational hatred towards a few names mostly because they're just so darn plain and dull...

Elizabeth - every time I hear someone say Elizabeth as if it's a cool, interesting choice I get the urge to scream.
    Katie
    Betsy
    Tiffany
Mia - soooo boring, how is this name so popular?
    Alexis
    Anne/Anna/Ana
    Abigail
    Victoria/Tori

I'm not a fan of most Nameberry faves either (Clementine, Josephine, Beatrice, etc.) but they don't bother me, they're just not my style.
My cherished daughter, Rowan Jane. ~b. 10/2011~
