    hyphenated first name - opinions?

what do you think of a hyphenated first name when you first hear it.

We were thinking of a first name like

    Miles-Aden (my fav)
    Miles-Doran (my fav)
    Miles-Artun (my fav)
    Miles-Aras
    Miles-Aren
    Miles-Artur
    Miles-Corey

we do think these names flow well, what are your thoughts about hyphens in first names?

do you have an idea for a better hyphen combo for Miles? (except Miles-Xavier)

we could go just with Miles as well, but as I am a fan of hyphenated names, I am a bit confused right now.

Hmmm...I really don't like hyphenated names. I would personally just go with Miles and choose one of the others for a middle name, but that's just me.

I'm not a fan of hyphenated names especially on boys. To me I think it makes the name look less masculine. Miles is really growing on me lately and I really like the name Aiden, I'm not a fan of different spellings like Aden, Aidan, Aaden or Ayden. Miles-Aiden would be nicer IMO.

I am also not a fan of hyphenated name. Some of them appear/sound so forced to me. I however knew a Marc-Anthony and a Mark-Paul, but they mostly went by Marc. Also a Paul-Anthony, that went by, Tony. However, if I was going to pick one, it would be Miles-Aden.

I think Miles-Aden sounds very nice. It's not too long. A hyphenated name with more than three syllables doesn't work in my opinion. So you're fine.
