    The Kit I knew was short for Christopher but he was Kit in everything at school and at home so it was basically his whole name, lol. I like it.

    I think Kit is pretty cool. Hopefully your last name is more than one syllable though.

    To me it doesn't sound like a full name. It also sounds like a nickname for a girl.

    Just to be awkward.... I only like it as a full, given name, not as a nn!
    Sounds good with any of the traditional, masculine names with 2 or 3 syllables which you suggested as middles (I like Edward for some reason). Other possibles: Oliver, Arthur...
