Help with 'soft' sounding boys names / 'O' names

I'm expecting baby number 2 and currently trying to finalise our boy name choice. After months of name-searching, I've noticed that my preference seems to be for names with an emphasis on 'O' sounds and soft consonants (soft by name but not by nature, hehe). My son is called Arlo, so I'm not sure about another name that ends in O (might be a bit too matchy matchy?)

    Current favourites are:
Rory (my absolute fave but OH is not so keen)
    Monty (OH has vetoed)
Oscar (my mum's dog's name, how frustrating!)
    Oisin
    Fionn

Can you think of any similar 'soft' sounding names that would work well with Arlo? I would love some suggestions!

Arlo is a wonderful name. From your list, I like Oscar (too bad about your Mum's dog) the best. I love names ending in "o" but since you already have Arlo, I would avoid that similarity. Here are some other "o" suggestions.

    Orson
    Oswin
    Osric
    Orion
    Omri
    Odin
    Otis
    All the best,
    Mischa.

My first thought was Otis but the I realize Arlo & Otis is awfully close to Milo & Otis. But if that doesn't bother you then I really like Otis

    Ovid/Oved
    Hosea
    Brody
    Bodhi
    Cole
    Roman
Rowan- you could call him Rory
    Nolan
    Noah

    Fox * Shea * Jade * Azure * Eden * Greer * Arden
    Lotus * Tallulah * Noor * Jasper * Blaise * Linden

I adore Rory! That would be my pick. Here are some other soft sounding names:

    Grey
    Graham
    Elliot
    Henry
    Harry
    Thomas

I'm partial to Oscar myself, though I can see how the dog association could be a downer.

Isn't Fionn pronounced Finn? Can't see how a 'soft O' sound really comes through there...

    Some of my favorites are:
    Orin
    Roan
    Rourke
Alois (I just think this name is so dashing!)
Osias (Okay, the 'sigh' sound in it sharpens it up a bit... but it's still quite a soft name)
Boys: Ignatius, Hieronymus, Casimir, Osias, Ludovic, Hesperus, Calixto, Aurelius
Girls: Amarantha, Jacintha, Isannah, Chrysantha, Jonquil, Oleanna, Esmeranda
